established in 2016
One Day We Forayed is an independent womenswear label founded on a simple goal to revive the craft of beautifully-made garments. We advocate the slow-life movement and sustainability in Fashion by having each garment made to order for both our Bespoke and Ready-to-Wear line.
In 2016, we debuted with our evening wear collection titled 'Vixens', drawing inspiration from the opulence of the Tang Dynasty, the folklore of the mystical 9 tail fox and the glamour of Old Hollywood screen sirens.
In 2017, we ventured into Ready-to-Wear with a small capsule collection for Spring/Summer before slowly extending the line throughout the year.
As part of the ASEAN Fashion Designers Showcase, One Day We Forayed has presented our collection in Lao Fashion Week (2017) and Fashionology Festival (2017, Vietnam), as well as via digital livestream for Aspara Fashion Week, Stockholm International Fashion Fair and International Digital Fashion Week (2020). Independently, we have represented Singapore at ASEAN-Republic of Korea Fashion Week (2021 & 2022).
In 2018, we were 1 of the 13 brands chosen to participate in Textile and Fashion Federation (TAFF)'s Spotlight: Singapore Stories project.
Audrey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in Fashion Design and Textiles, specialising in Creative Pattern Cutting.
While still in fashion school, she worked brief stints in overseas fashion studios, which opened her eyes to high fashion and their processes. More notably, Audrey has worked on Ralph & Russo’s S/S15 collection, presented at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Upon graduation, Audrey cut her teeth at a bespoke bridal studio as a designer to further her knowledge and skills in creating bespoke gowns.
As a designer, Audrey is passionate about the slow-life, slow-fashion movement. She is heavily inspired by mythology, folklore and all things fantastical and magical. She believes in slowing down and taking time in creating each design in-house, and hopes that each carefully made garment will be loved and cherished by the wearer for years to come.
