About the Brand

One Day We Forayed is an independent bridal studio founded on our designer's goal to revive the craft of beautifully-made dresses, advocating the slow-life movement and sustainability in Fashion by having each dress made-to-order for both Bespoke and Ready-to-Wear.

In 2018, we were 1 of the 13 brands chosen to participate in Singapore Fashion Council’s Spotlight: Singapore Stories project.

On the international stage, ODWF has represented Singapore in Lao Fashion Week (2017) and Fashionology Festival (2017, Vietnam), as well as via digital livestream for Aspara Fashion Week, Stockholm International Fashion Fair, International Digital Fashion Week (2020) and ASEAN-Republic of Korea Fashion Week (2021 & 2022).

About the Designer

Audrey Tang graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (First Class Honours) in Fashion Design and Textiles, specialising in Creative Pattern Cutting.

Upon graduation, Audrey cut her teeth at a bespoke bridal studio as a designer to further her knowledge and skills in creating bespoke gowns.

As a designer, Audrey is passionate about the slow-life, slow-fashion movement. She is heavily inspired by mythology, folklore and all things fantastical and magical. She believes in slowing down and taking time in creating each design in-house, and hopes that each carefully made garment will be loved and cherished by the wearer for years to come.

Craftsmanship

Every crystal and lace is carefully placed with precision and purpose, ensuring a meaningful dress that is customised to each bride.

We advocate the slow-life and slow-fashion movement by having each dress made to order for both our Bespoke and Ready-to-Wear line.

Every bespoke dress is specially designed to complement our brides' personality, style and values. We accompany our brides throughout their entire dressmaking process, ensuring consistent communication and encouraging support in every way.

Initial Consultation

We begin with an intimate consultation to understand your vision, style preferences, personality type and wedding details.

Design Session

With your style preferences in mind, we will propose a variety of design sketches and fabric options for your consideration. Should you require specialty fabrics, we are happy to offer you a personalised shopping experience at various fabric shops.

Fitting Sessions

Prototype Fitting:

We will create a prototype of your chosen dress design in a sample fabric. At this stage, we will be able to confirm the overall design and silhouette, and know if we need to make any fit adjustments for the actual dress.

Changes to selected design details can be discussed at this stage with no extra charges.

Actual Dress Fittings:

1st fitting in actual fabric. Should there be an further changes to dress design at this stage, an additional fee will be charged. The fee varies based on the complexity of the new design.

If the dress has delicate handwork, embroidery or lace details, they will be presented at the 2nd and 3rd fitting sessions.
